IOP 9/14

Just could not stand it, had to go fishing. On the beach about 5:30PM, low tide incoming. Moved a bit from last weekend, found the “outflow” of the trough. Gave up some nice Whiting on shrimp. Cut bait produced a few small Sharks, Blues and Ladyfish and three Rays. Fought the first “car hood” sized Ray for about 30min. When it got in the skinny water I could not move it. Decided to palm the reel and let it swim away. The second was a bruiser as well. Slightly smaller, only took about 15-20mins. to land. Was another nice day in the surf.

Great pictures as always, glad to see you got out Mr. Parker I know youve been wanting to for a while those poles are slammed, very nice.

i enjoy your posts. thank you

Mr Parker, youve been very helpful with lending advice so I thought I’d give it a shot. I’ve worked on allot of aspects of my fishing game but seem to have fallen short. With multiple weekends of fishing I’m experiencing a strange phenomena at home. “CRANKY WIFE SYNDROME” what would you do, how would you tame this beast, any help or advice appreciated:smiley: She’s even scaring Grace.

I take mine with me.:stuck_out_tongue: Best part is, she don’t fish. She does take nice pics though. She will reel lines in if a big one is running back and forth.

nice catch, dude.

Welcome back dp, thanks for the report
