There is much better table fare than shark.
The above is where you are completely wrong.
As for C&R…do as you please, but never judge another for keeping what is legal.
Believe me, I will kill the first one I get a chance to. Some of the finest eating in the sea!
Safe bet your won’t be catching any with us then.

Not to be rude, but didn’t ask to catch any with any of you.
LoL
Easy guys, save the arguments, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Having said that, how would one filet shark? Steak style like tuna or just regularly as you would a whiting? Not planning on keeping any, but if I catch for sharpnose in a day, one gets a bit curious…
We would be frying it so filleted is what we would do. No bones. Just beautiful, solid meat.
lol, Fried shark?
Jeff Foxworthy just added a new joke to his repertoire.
Why do you laugh? Obviously if you think it’s a joke, you’ve tried it and don’t like it.
So…have you? Or are you laughing out of ignorance (meant in the true sense of the word with no disrespect intended)?
If you have and don’t like it, then that’s ok with me. I won’t make fun of anyone for not liking something. I won’t make jokes about they have no clue as to the preparation or how to cook. It’s just that you don’t like something. There are things I don’t like as well.
As for shark…seasoned & fried…then stuffed in a bake. Oh yeah…even Foxworthy would like it…and then he’d be laughing at YOU! LoL
Anyway, shark is great. Fried…hey, I’m a Southern boy…everything is good fried. My wife is much more Southern than me or you (I’m sure) and the sandwich picture I posted above hails from her home country. YIKES, it’s freaky good! One of the top five foods I’ve ever experienced.
Cape thank you for the link and the picture. This sounds crazy but a sandwich looking like that may influence my next vacation!
now I’m on a quest to catch me some shark to eat! I guess I cant fish with the “team” either…
Thanks Cape fisherman. I’m more anxious to try it now also. Any tips or videos for filleting a shark and what size do you recommend? My understanding is that a BT needs to be 54". What would be ideal in your opinion?

As small as possible. I don’t need a two year supply in the freezer.
