Hit iop for the top of the rising. Not my favorite but wanted to get out before it was too HOT. Had to walk out on the bar to get a cast to the fish, but it was a non stop whiting bite. Plus one fat but short trout with shrimp antenna hanging out of his mouth, and a baby black tip. Nothing hit the whole whiting rig, and with the constant wave action I tired of wading out to cast the rigs after 1.5hrs or so. They were out there though. Also plenty of bird activity on the color line beyond the break, likely those Spanish people have been asking about
