Okay here we go. Got to the beach a little later than I wanted to, raining really hard at the house. Still got lines in about 10:30am, falling. Nice trough, good current. All Whiting at first, couple baby Pompano, Blue fish. Got rained on several times, no big deal. After the turn, must have been about 12:00-12:30, BOOM! Big rod goes down with a decent Red. Got the line back out, 30min. later something freight trained me, probably a shark? Or a 60" Red? [:0] It was big and fast, got tail wipped. Caught a couple puppy drum later then bite slowed. Left the beach about 3:00pm. Took a pic of the trough just after I released the bigger red. And of course the rain.

What where you using as bait

Shrimp and Whiting chunks. I have caught big Reds on both.

Where in IOP are you at

On the east side of the Island, standing in the sand, between Breach and Dewees inlets. :wink:

What kind of rig where you using to catch those fish?
