Might try to join you if you are out on Sat. will be leaving Sun. for work. Will know by about 9:00 this evening if I can make it. If do time, place to meet?

Wind was not too bad for the most part. Caught some trout and landed my fist flouder. Although nothing bigger than 12 inches.

Went to the lagoon on Sunday with cutmullet. What a difference not having the wind. We got into some bid reds, a few flounders and at least one big trout. Between the grass and…uh,…well,…um…malfunctions, it was a very interesting trip. There was one small gator doing pretty good on the large mullet too. Didn’t look like he had any malfunction either.
Cant wait until BARF

…people that do miss, …might kick 'emselves in the a$$ after all is said and done.
…currently plans are to unveiling the Grand Prize, Fri night during the “Frogmore Stew” meet & greet …not before.
…hopefully all will pan out, we’ll have a big showing and the weather will be good.

Mud did you fall out of the boat again…
Have Wed, Thur and Fri. off and was thinking about heading to the lagoon for at least one day of fishing if anyone else is free.
Not much finget mullet around now so will shrimp be the better choice for bait?
Does the lagoon tend to be more productive where it get narrow and heads out to sea or is it worth fishing N end, in deeper water?

Left side, in the flats near the grass just before it narrows…
I would join you, but RL sucks… You could get mud minnows at Lowcountry Marine Supply… Otherwise, shrimp under a cork works well…
Take your flyrod, and if you catch a seatrout, immediately cast into the area with a charterues Clouser, or better yet a Electric Chicken pattern… You can get one at Lowcountry Marine Supply too.
BTW: The Sea Island Fly Fishers are meeting tomorrow night at 6 P.M. for their monthly meetings, at Baystreet Outfitters. COme on by and meet the crew.

fall out of the boat…like that has ever happen…at least not yet!
lines breaking, knots coming undone, fish swimming into to the thick grass, lines crossed and then lines breaking… all you could do, that is to keep your insanity was to laugh about it:smiley: Look like Cut’s keeping quit about it…don’t think he wants to talk about it.
