Any one ever see or catch any big jacks in North Edisto around mouth of Bohicket or around Botany. I’ve seen the little fellas mixed in with bluefish some time but have never seen the big ones here. We used to run a kicker boat for shrimp in the Ashepoo in beside Otter Island and big jacks would be right at the legal line to shrimp but I never fished for them. It seems like they should come into N.Edisto but I sure can’t remember ever seeing any. Thanks
The only big jacks I’ve caught in the area was in and around Fish Creek and Pine and Otter Islands. Them things pull like a freight train.

All I can report is I have been fishing in the spots you describe and have been spooled three times this month. All on a carolina rigged shrimp in about 10’ of water…haven’t even turned them.
