Asked if Winston faced consequences or might even miss time Saturday, Fisher responded, “Well, we’re deciding. We’re talking as things go on right now.”

Winston, also the Seminoles’ baseball closer, was suspended for a couple of baseball games in the spring after being caught stealing crab legs from a Publix grocery store, but did not face a football suspension.

What a dumb azz. Clemson’s chances just went up exponentially. I would terrorize whoever starts at QB and put the pedal down offensively. Try to build a lead and hope you D can shut down Crab-legs in the 2nd half.

My respect for Fisher just went up. This could cost the team dearly.

Not mine. Dumbo Fisher had nothing to do with it. The interim president and the associate AD made the call. If it were up to Dumbo, he’d still be playing.
