Jefford Creek/Rock Creek

Will be on the island next week, and plan to do a bunch of fishing so of course I’m spending time on Google Earth…

The creek that runs between Otter Island and Pine Island, Jefford Creek on the map…anything in there? Is it worth trying? Looks to be a lot of bends in the creek and a lot of points.

The same goes for Rock Creek area, there seems to be some structure on the banks, and lots of bends and small creeks.

Any other places to focus? Will have the kids, so getting on some fish would be awesome!

Go all the way up Jefford until it runs up against ■■■■■■■, there are fallen tress in the creek that are good to fish. You can even follow the creek all the way out to the river to get home if you want. Would not advise doing this on a lower tide.

You can go way back in Fishing Cr almost to ICW. Lots of small creeks and flats and some deep turns. That’s half way between Rock and Ashepoo.

There’s a back way in there from the river if you can find it at high it saves a lot of rideing!
