Jelly all harvesting method

So how do the retrofitted boats actually catch the jellyballs, nets? Are we going to have to compete with these boats during cobia season or do they have to stay 3 miles out? I think there are some huge questions here…

They trawl for them just like shrimp. There has been a commercial fishery for them in Georgia for many years, mostly down in the Brunswick area now. It’s never hurt any of the fishing, or the cobia, or the spade fish population. Nothing to worry about.

“Actually they taste a little like the gristle of a chicken bone. Its got that crunchy taste and thats what the people in Japan and China, they like that crunch”

i was raised in the “its all chicken but the bone” mentality, but come on man. importing grizzle-like dried aquatic life labled as a delicacy… they must be some hungry sob’s out there.

Idk last year you could not find a jelly ball in Edisto to save your life, at least compared to years before. Could this by why?
