NN…

Capt. Rick & I were in the Broad today. The jelly balls were there, but widely scattered in amongst the sargassum weed (near the high tide). Yep…tons of sargassum in the Broad. No schoolie dolphin however. But we did see 3 cobia…had a shot at two but only one took the jig for a second, then spit it out.

Wow!

Thank you for the info Jim. That wind has been out of the east so much I have not been able to get out to any nearshore wrecks.

Hope to post something up soon. Taking the Fathers Day gift…GoPro Hero 2.

Thanks again,
NN

wildlifesc, love your sense of humor. I’ll admit I was looking for schoolies today as I scouted the weed lines all the way up Calibogue Sound. There was even sargassum in our slip at Hilton Head Harbor.

We hooked up on a nice Blue Marlin just off Harbourtown. Or maybe that was a redfish, I can’t remember… It was a long day.

No jelly balls in that direction, though.
