That really is a trio of Richard Craniums - - I can read guilty body language even from their rear view… “Oh, we’re busy here - - are you upset about something?”
Cricket bucket = fiddler crabs for sheepshead. Looks like your typical democrat from that hat he has on
I agree with Fritz…probably was one of those guides out of Mt Pleasant that think their Sh*t don’t stink!!!..I would have just chucked a 6oz sinker on em and said “ohhh I’m sorry I wasn’t trying to hit you…I was just trying to cut you off”

however rude this may be, hitting them or their boat with a lead weight probably won’t solve much either…I might try asking them if they realized how they cut you off and ruined that fishing spot for you at the time…personally I would give somebody the benefit of the doubt before I hurled a piece of lead at them…remember, just because they were an idiot doesn’t mean you have to be one too…

What’s that guy doing with his thumb up? Has there been conversation that he is acknowledging?

</font id=“quote”></blockquote id=“quote”>possibly pitching his fiddler up near the rocks without winding in and casting every time…lift rod tip up, grab line with other hand, lower rod tip and sling towards the rocks…isn’t this kinda like flipping in fresh water?

That’s one of the best statements yet on this thread.
So you pull a gun on someone over a fishing spot? Out of the three “what if” all were carrying and now you have just given them permission to fire back because of the implied threat to their life.
While I carry, I pray that I will never have to use, cause if it gets pointed at human it will be used.
Anyone who has spent some time fishing in our God’s graced waters will have an encounter with an idiot… sorry for you misfortune if it happened the way you stated it Curly Dog. Poor sportsmanship, lots of water out there to have to crowd up on someone.

While firearms and lead weights may not be good anwsers, it sure is great to have a forum where
you can blow off the steam after an “idiot encounter”. LOL!
Well said Lawman and Fred67. If we all just started pulling guns or hurling potentially lethal objects at folks everytime they cut us off on the water, highways or wherever, what would we accomplish? Get over it, not everyone is as perfect as YOU think YOU are.
There was no verbal exchange or lead thrown, remember I did have my young son with me. It just amazed me at how inconsiderate they were especially when the next nearest boat was probably 400 to 500 yards away from us. Plenty of water for everyone without getting in each other’s way. They did turn their backs rather quickly when they saw the camera come out.
I would like to think it wasn’t a guide with a charter. I would not be happy with a guide if he did this with me on board and definitely would be my first and last charter.
Surely someone on this site recognizes the guys. Let’s give it up!!! Gonna be in town for four days next week and would love to bust on them if seen at the Jetties.

I’ve seen them out there before while sheephead fishing, but I’ve never had a problem with them. I think it’s the hearding mentality. They see another boat so obviously that’s where the fish are, even though there’s another 500 yards free on either side of you. Had the same thing happen to me Friday, but it was a different boat full of peckerwoods. I just pulled up and moved on to the next spot. Other than a few parting comments so they know what they did is wrong for next time, it’s not worth dealing with, especially with younguns on board.
On the other hand, the d-bag at shem creek landing that had his catamaran backed half way down the ramp with a box truck deserved more than a few parting comments. Especially when he directed others waiting to put in to use the other ramp when it became available. Saw him go by an hour or so later in the harbor so I can only imagine the congratulations he got as the ramp got busier.

Think he lives down the street in Brickyard. I will tell him to check out this thread.

Actually, those are crickets in that bucket and from what I think, he is a guide in the Georgetown area and uses crickets for sheeps. I heard about his cricket tactics from one of his customers that fishes with me also. I think he fishes out of Belle Isle. That sounds like typical crap we deal with up here in MI!

Dayum, you mean I could have been bringing crickets to Chas rather than catching bait when I get down there? Who knew?
Guns and lead might not be the best idea. Pulling anchor and rocking them with a big wake as you leave would be pretty fun though.
If you’re lucky enough to be fishing, you’re lucky enough.
