Jimbo resigned. That would imply he got tired of FSU’s antics. Besides, he’s already won a National Title at FSU so what else did he have to prove there? FSU is said to be targeting a “minority coach” for Jimbo’s replacement. Possibly Charlie Strong, Willie Taggart or Kevin Sumlin.

Tennessee is a dumpster fire, not the SEC as a whole. Plus like I said, he (Jimbo) has nothing else to prove/accomplish in the ACC. Also, like it or not/true or not, the SEC is still one of the “power five” conferences and arguably the most notable. The only people that have a problem with or want to talk crap about the SEC are people that are fans of scholls that aren’t in the SEC.

$75,000,00.00 is one helluva reason to jump ship. Add the fact FSU won’t upgrade the facilities the way he wants and is trying to dictate his staff and he’s got more reason. Throw in a bitter divorce and maybe he wants to start over somewhere.
