July Meet and Fish (Saturday July 12th) Postponed due to weather…
Where were you thinking of having the M&F?

The last time we had one, it was at Murrells Inlet. We can do something around town this time. With the increasing temps, maybe this next trip would be a good time to practice our rescues and re-entries too?
I would love to be introduced to new fishing locations. As of late, my spot has become so busy with activity, it’s really hard to reel anything in.
Great ideal…Maybe Folly Beach…

Folly Landing?
Folly sounds good. I fished there Saturday and did fairly well.

Folly Landing is a possibility - low tide on July 13th is at 5:40 AM. Any other suggestions? We’ve got a couple weeks to decide…
I like Folly because there’s a good ramp. And, a variety of places and different terrain to fish. We fished there this past Saturday and found a little creek that was teeming with flounder. (Don’t ask on here. I don’t want to tip off the yahoos with their gigs and spears) I’m up for fishing any salt water locations in the Charleston area. Folly is as good as any. That’s my 2 cents.

Well, we haven’t been back to Folly yet this year, so lets do the July Meet and Fish at Folly Landing!
J.P. - what do you think about a time? Low tide is at 5:40 that morning…maybe around 7:30?
im down for folly! what time yall thinking? lauch at 7 and be back around noon, before it gets too hot?
I’m new to the area and would love to go. I can’t make it the week of the 13th if the wkend is still up for grabs I would love a different date. Is there only one landing on folly island?
Got to work that weekend, but you guys keep me in mind if you go another time. Usually fish that water, so you guys hit me up if you need some pointers.
7:30 works for me. 7:00 is fine too. I have an hour drive but 30 minutes isn’t going to make much of a difference. The tide isn’t ideal but we should do well with the trout. There are puppy sharks up in the creeks now. Hopefully they aren’t to much of a nuisance.
For those of you that can’t make it: Just post on here where and when you are heading out and it shouldnt be hard to get people to join you. We’ve done it in the past and put together a small group.

I’ll be there!

Sounds good to me. The ramp lane closest to the road is great for kayaks and boaters rarely use it. We can stack them up over there and not get in anyone’s way. Do not park in the trailer spots if you don’t have a trailer. There is a good chance you will get a ticket. It shouldn’t be too crowded when we get there but will be packed when we pull out.
I live right off of folly road on James island. Whoever wants to give me a ride ill but em breakfast or lunch! Is love to go but don’t have a ride… and I’d need to me back by 1:45 or 2 at the latest, work at 3. Shoot me a text or call @ 843 568 thirty two three two
Sounds like a plan. Excited to get out and meet some fellow yakkers.
