finally was able to get offshore. Went to edisto 40 caught a big mixed bag of fish, bsb, weakfish, whiting, sharks, bluefish. Rode out to the edisto 60. Water was crystal clear and blue. Scattered weeds everywhere. Caught mostly bsb at the 60. Everything caught on cut bait bottom fishing.

How big were the trout?
-There are two types of fisherman those who fish for sport and those who fish for fish.
it was weakfish not trout, I did catch some trout inshore but they were small. i corrected my original post. most everything was too small to keep.

I didn’t know until today that a weakfish was not a type of trout. I thought the weakfish was a summer trout and the other was a winter trout (1 tooth in the top of the mouth vs. two teeth in the top of the mouth). Oh well.
