Just showing off

Thought I’d share a few pics of my newest build that I’m finishing up. This is the first time I’ve ever tackled a planked and caulked deck and I’m real happy with it so far. I milled all the planks from 100+ year old reclaimed heart cypress so it’s different than most

It took a week to mill the planks from rough boards, another 2 weeks to fit them and glue them down. They only have one coat of epoxy now but they will get 2 more coats of epoxy, then 3 coats of clear, and all of the seams filled in black.

This is what I do in my spare time

Man that’s amazing!

Heck I call that BRAGGIN and you certainly have every right to do just that. That boat is truly a piece of Art.I am sure who ever you are building this fine boat for will be sturtting like a Peacock. Talk about the Cock of the walk.Yeowwzzza. NICE

Are they going to get fish blood on that?

Those rod holders are cute. I guess one might get used to hold a flag , which would flap in the breeze only if I had both the front and back shop doors open.

That’s just exciting to look at. Fantastic.

Sweet !

You are a great craftsman Larry. Everything I’ve seen that you have done is in a class of it’s own.

That is beautiful work. You’re one heck of a craftsman to pull that off. I’d Never let my crazy dog go with me if I owned that one! Good job Larry.

Beautiful! If it were mine, I’d breathe a sigh of relief every time I got skunked. In fact, I’d probably only use rubber hooks.
