Keeping bait alive

Every time I get my bait at tidal pools they always seem to die within the 10min. period out of water on the way to the fort or breach. Once I cast net bait I put them in my flow troll or 5 galllon bucket. I then walk them down to the beach for a cool drink. Then right when I get to my spot I put them in the water. Any Suggestions?

I’m so salt life I sued google earth for giving away all of my fishing spot’s.

Freeze a water bottle and stick it in the bucket.

Water temp is a big deal. I also use a bait aerator, since I don’t carry a flow bucket.
