Sure we are very fortunate that the lowcountry offers excellent fishing year round; but, sometimes finding a break in the weather that happens to fall on the weekend can be tough and since it is dark by 6 pm it is impossible to get on the water after work further limiting possibilities. I find that at least doing boating related activities such as restocking the first aid kit, knocking out preventative maintenance, organizing tackle etc. at least helps me stay somewhat sane.
