Thanks Fishndivr: We should do just whst you suggested this week, maybe on the weekend for the out of towners, but we{Mr. King and I} have talked about this on PM, and yes, let’s do it…
I’ve been reading the topic and have been fishing these waters inshore and jetty’s fishing for a while. I have never really chased the kings but am ready to start. My buddy and I would like to come to the meeting if one is arranged. I don’t know if most people are West of the Ashley or in Mt. Pleasant. But I sure we could find a meeting place on James Island. Mac daddy pm me and I see if I can think of a place if you have a head count and a date we would try to meet.
How about Rendezvous in N Chas as a first time get together? It’s huge and the food is good. I believe it gets slammed late night, but I’m assuming we’d meet on a Saturday late afternoon/early evening. It’s also more convenient than say downtown, James Island or MT P for those of us that would be coming down I-26 from out of town.

Sounds good to me, Sat early evening or late afternoon works for me how bout everyone else? Post what time is best for you, and we will try to compromise and make it as convenient as possible for everyone.
The Colunbia guys will need to stay overnight, due to drinking, unless they can come together with a designated driver.
We have the perfect spot set up Sat 3-7 if time is ok with everyone. Not too much basketball noise there, plus outside tables available. We can have dinner @5:30 or so before closing, prices 8-10.00 plate. The Columbia guys can still drive back that night if they want. Let’s bring reels with favorite lures and tackle box if you like, also may bring a boat or two for demo in the parking lot if we like. We also can have an early seminar around 1:00 if there is any interest. PM or post your desires right away please…

sounds good…
We have final plans, Sat. 1:00, seminar or 2 with boat demo in parking lot. Location Westcott Club in N. Charleston, bring boat and gear if you like, let me know how many please; also NO coolers, beer will be avaiable from the club bar, and can be taken outside. Let’s try to support the golf club since they are letting us use their facility, and parking lot. Meeting 3:00 to 5:00, dinner 6:00, Sandwiches only, 8-10.00 menu, Grill outside open until 3:00 with Hot Dogs, Burgers, etc. No bottles allowed in lot for safety, cans and p;astic cups ok. This is a great facility, and you will be treated royally, they are eager to welcome us for permanent location if we desire, private room with sandwiches, seating up to 65 or so. Later on that discussion. Reply or PM me right away with questions or concerns…

That sounds fine to me!
Got a street address so I can Mapquest it?

no, Wescott Plantation Golf Club should get you in, if not look in Summerville phone book or I can get you an address. Off Dorchester, main entrance to Wescott Plantation to the roundabout, club on the right at roundabout. Good to hear from you Jason, looking forward to meeting you Saturday. Just talked to Tommy{Mr. King}, he said he was going to call you. See you at 1:00 for the seminar, hope you can make it all, too. We can talk a little about Kite fishing, too; bring your kite for info purposes, we have so many Columbia fishermen, our numbers may be small, so all you guys bring someone with you, too…

I mite try and be there alittle early but ill have to see.
Just got a report the water temp is up to 59%, 68% is the magic #, so won’t be long now. Mid April or sooner, so get your eqpt. ready guys, respool if needed, tune-up the motor, service reels, grease bearings, bring your rig Sat. if you like, and we’ll check her out for the season. Also the reports are already coming in that the bait is alive and well in the ICW, and the creeks, that’s an early bonus we don’t usally get. This should really be a good season for the kings, come on over Sat. and sharpen your skills…

Thanks, Sharky, sorry you’re working Sat. we’ll catch you next meeting, those 2-3" babies are perfect fpr Flounder, Grouper{little small}, Reds, about any river fish, good time to freeze some of those. The pogies in the ICW are reportedly about 4", we need 5-6", so that won’t be long either. Ft. Moultrie seems to be the best spot, also mullet there too. I’m like a kid at Christmas, you’ll see that Sat., you who can make the meeting. Those who don’t know Sharky, he’ll fish for anything, obviously likes shark fishing, also he’s sitting on {6} boats right now; some Jon boats for sale. He told me he’s getting ready to buy a 26’er with {3} motors for the bluewater, and King fishing, lol Sharkey…
