I know this is a late post, but figured you guys would like to see the bite is in full effect.
Fished the outgoing tide from around 5:30am and caught tons of toadfish. Brother caught a small black drum around 6:30, then nothing but toads for quite awhile.
Right when the tide was down and almost slack, I fished a favorite hole of mine. Got rained on heavily and in the midst of the heavy downpour hooked into this 20 incher flattie using mudminnow on a carolina rig. Slow morning turned into a great mid morning. Nephew caught a 15" keeper flounder and I caught another short. All in all, besides the 10 min downpour, it turned into a good fishing trip.
