i don’t care how many people bash the thunderstar i still love the boat, have never had a bad trip and hey its the cheapest i can get 40 miles off. was looking forward to my trip in november as always then found out after getting off the boat there would be no trips in november. can anyone give me a name of a head boat that might do an overnight trip in november. have heard there may be one out of savannah. but all help is appreciated.
name it and we caught it. gag, scamps, ars queen triggers, sand tile fish, strawberrys or redhind, huge b-liners, really nice pinks. for people to say these fish are hurting is hard to believe i even saw one pink on the boat go over 20+ inches
Ilove to fish on the Miss Hatteras out of you guessd it Hatteras. Had lots of fun on that boat with my sons and brothers.Congradulation on your nice catch.

That’s a tile fish, and the T-Star must have been running deep to put you on that mix. Not too many tiles hangin around 40 miles off. Lots of them 60 miles off though. Didn’t think that boat ran that deep.

Nice catch there and some real fine meals coming up too. That is one of the better catches I have seen on a headboat.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

What are those fish in the second row (behind the grouper and tile) towards the right? They look like they might be A.J.'s? def not the tail of any bottom dwellers…
yea ambers and amacos took them home to a guy who i know will eat anything and of course he loved them. lol…just not for me. i got tired of catching them must of caught 75 of them throughout the night.
This must have been an overnight trip correct? I don’t even think I saw that many fish caught in the day trip I went! NICE CATCH!!! I may rethink taking the personal boat out and just hit up the Thunderstar! Those guys are great too…They have to have a worse job than a customer service rep for Verizon…They are NON STOP untangeling and cutting line…BUT they are fishing, in which if it paid enough, I’d be a deckhand ANYDAY
never heard of one…If I caught either I would probably throw back…not used to those…from florida and haven’t fished gulf in 9 yrs and only fished atlantic a handful of times…
