An IMG commit decommited because Dabo doesn’t like his commits to take official visits. He decommited so he wasn’t breaking Dabo’s rules which are in place to protect the team and recruiting process for all recruits. He wanted to take officials with his other teammates that are making their rounds to LSU, Auburn, Miami, Clemson, and one other.
He decommited and said he’s 99.9% Clemson. He’s gonna have his fun and be back at Clemson after his officials. Hopefully he brings his D-line teammate with him.

No conspiracy here. Its as simple as GW said. Smith wanted to take 4 official visits so Dabo said go ahead but you need to de-commit first.
The insiders at TI say he wants to enjoy the red carpet treatment and have fun and will most likely re-commit. If not, oh well.
That’s the nice thing about recruiting so well, does not hurt as much as it used to.
