I hate to agree with anything ED says but, grams are a unit of measurement for weed. The potency of today’s weed is far greater than the weed of old…so I am told when I attend drug classes (for work).

I love how the “five star” second leading receiver on the team gets another chance (even though this isn’t his first “chance”) but the other two scrubs are gone. I also love how some tater homers are saying “Dabo did the right thing.” Dabo didn’t do squat. The NCAA suspended them, not Dabo.
And for the record, addiction can’t influence decisions until decisions allow addiction to become influential.

Kids are stupid at times. It’s unfortunate that these guys did this; hopefully they can move on and learn a valuable life lesson. It’s unfair they’re in the national spot light as there’s plenty of people making these mistakes daily that don’t get publicized nationally, but hey, it’s time to grow up and realize life isn’t fair.
Grow, move on, and become a better man for it.
Dabo clearly stated it was a team violation and He suspended them. The other 2 aren’t coming back because they are seniors. No chance to serve a suspension and return. Cain is a freshman so he has some time to get his head right. Like Sammy dos and look at him today.

It is still “up in the air” as to the fate of Deion Cain as was stated clearly by Dabo. Plenty of very talented former Clemson players have had to hit the road in the recent past per violating team rules. To say Dabo did nothing is semi-retarded. I would bet Cain will end up being another Mike Bellamy situation.

The violations and subsequent punishments are outlined in the NCAA’s drub policy that all schools are governed by. Do I know the exact page number in the phone book-thick NCAA rules book that specifically states that, no, but I’m sure if you have a few free hours to parous it, you could find it. There’s no way Clemson would’ve been permitted to let any of these players take the field on Thursday after failing a NCAA drug test. Thus, Dabo had no choice but to get these kids a ticket back to Clemson. I get what you’re trying to do but the bottom line is the NCAA and its policies (regardless of how stupid and overbearing some are) is the reason schools do the “right thing.”
The kicker was a back up and a senior that graduated a few days ago so he was gone either way. The TE was also a back up but he is a Junior but has had zero receptions during his playing time at Clemson. Both of these players have had discipline issues while at Clemson so given that, it was easy to say “bye bye” to them. The WR, on the other hand, is a freshman, with prior disciplinary issues at Clemson, but he was a 5 star recruit and is the second leading receiver on the team. He’s obviously not playing in this game (on Thursday) but it will be intere

Never said Dabo didn’t do anything. There was only one decision to be made. Dabo had to sit in front of cameras and announce it.
