Landing fees $5 a person? Is this correct? Wife, me and 3 kids $25? Surely I read something wrong. Can anyone verify or clarify this for me. Thanks

$5 is correct, best thing to do is put the boat in by yourself and go pick them up at the marina.

I thought kids under a certain age were either reduced or free. Just my thoughts, check with the park ranger.

Thanks Dawg for the advice. Guess they know they got ya so stick it to ya. Only place to put in on the south unless you have a slip at the Marina{no parking}! Still hard to believe though…

Buy a Park Pas for $50 and it is good for one year and all SC State Parks - then you do not have to pay the fees.

Is it really $5 per person?
I thought it was $5 per vehicle to park and/or to use the ramp.
No fishing from dock and no swimming allowed so why $5 per person?

I have a $50 pass that I get every year, but if we have guests, we pick them up at the Edisto Marina, also.

I am no Democrat but you can thank Bush for that one. Let’s see we pay taxes on tha gas we buy to go to the landing, pay taxes on the car we drive to the landing, pay taxes on the boat/motor we launch at the landing and than pay $20 to put a boat in the water for a family of 4. I will gladly pay the marina $10 at least they are creating jobs and an income for some folks vs our wonderful federal and state government who just continues to strip us of our money and rights.
