Looking for a less crowded beach to fish

Hello looking for a less crowded beach spot to fish during the day anywhere around charleston. Was fishing at sulivans but its starting to get crowded with beach goers. The current at breach unlet is a little too strong for my liking.

I have not i was just begining to explore and fish the beaches around the area back in march and april. Unfortunately i had hemoraged a couple disks in my neck at work and had surgery so i will be out for the summer. But im dying to get out there and see some fish so my fiancee agreed she would fish so i could see the action lol. We pretty much had sullivans to ourselves back then but we just went this last weekend and saw people everywhere. We also saw hundreds of stingrays in the water some of them coming all the way up into only a couple inches of water.

Is there a specific spot to park at edisto i have never been there

Try the 3200 block or the state park

Ya know, it must be nice living in Neverneverland. Remind me to come visit you, when I need a break from reality.

You find a “quiet” beach down here…let me know. It’s getting harder every year.

Im going to try the state park. I also see you can camp down there is that on the beach or in camp sites

Looking on Google Earth how about the Isle of Palms County park…?

State park has camp sites on the inland side of the sand dunes & also has some farther back in a wooded area. Small inlet a 1.5 mile or so walk north of the beach camp sites.

for real, you can’t fish almost anywhere around here between 10-6. Its crazy.

If you fish any where other than a private beach 9 to 5 is tourist time and also when its so hot and sunny the good fish don’t bite as well.

Folly Beach, go to the left, all the way to the end. You’ll walk by the old coast guard station area. That’s a good fishing area for a lot of the year. Not as many tourists walking around down there in the water. The current is bad there at times; advise not swimming there…and its the best view in Charleston too.
