Just moved to Beaufort and looking for some help on where some decent places to bait for shrimp are. Have always fished/shrimped out of Edisto and went to St Helena. Staying in a house on the Beaufort River and the boat is on the lift, so not looking to trailer anywhere. Know I’m about 45 mins to St Helena from here, but hoping for something closer. Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

to say it simply, take your boat out and mark were everyone else is shrimping. If you have the opportunity to shrimp during the week you won’t be messing with the weekend shrimpers spots.
Plan your scouting trip at dead low, and mark all the oyster rakes to stay away from. Shrimp are mixed with some areas holding some better sized.
Do not rule out day time shrimping if you have the opportunity to do so. Good luck!
