Looking for a tackle shop.....

I’m looking for a tackle shop in the Savannah area that sells offshore tackle. Thanks in advance.

don’t bass pro shop have everything you need

Looking for a wider selection of offshore lures. They seem to be limited to the lures they carry and don’t really have noligable people to answer any question about fishing offshore. Bass Pro does have plenty of rigging material though.

■■■■ BPS dosent have what you need? What are you looking for?

My father asked me if I wanted to go to his secret spot then said “It’s well stocked and rest assured it’s occupants have been left In Peace for far too long.” That’s classic!

i havent found much down here like in charleston. there is a place in thunderbolt called river supply. they carry the most that i have found, but nothing like hadgels (sp). it is right before you get to tubbys on the right, accross from bahia blue.

littlebit, BPS doesn’t carry quality billfish lures. Big stuff! Just want to get ready for this season. Not crazy about circle-hooks. Figure we’ll be fishing alot of lures in tournaments this seasons with the points difference between sails and blues. Got to catch four sails to equal a blue. Thanks savblue, I’ll check them out.

River Supply in Thunderbolt is your best bet. They can order anything you want that they don’t have on the self. There isn’t anywhere around town that has the selection of Charleston. I usually take a weekend trip up to Haddrell’s and stock-up.

You can order a lot of stuff on-line from Finest Kind, they have everything from Black Barts to Illander’s

lowcountry marine supply in beaufort is open 6 days a week. they have it, or will get it all. talk to tony constant, the owner. is also a guide for both in and off, a good guy to know in the area.

Thanks, I’ll check out both places.
