LOTS OF TROUT - UDC - 10/17/2011

After feeding buckets of live Mud Minnows to unknown attackers, we finally eased them to the boat and saw hundreds of 6" Trout. They were eating the bellies out of the Minnows because the Minnows were too big for them to swallow.

Alan finally managed to catch a 22.5" and a smaller keeper Spottail for supper.

Hopefully we won’t have a cold winter to kill off the Trout again.

Been catching them as bycatch in the castnet WAAAAY up the creeks too. Approx 3-4" long. They are very carefully returned to the water. Pretty little things
