Depends on who else is available at the time. Many times candidates align with the position because of circumstances rather than fit.

Both are notable OC/DC, but Morris has not translated that into wins at SMU. Given it is SMU, so Tanner will need to make the call. Again, Elliot needs to be considered, if he proves he is worthy. If I was Tanner, I would be behind Elliott and support him before pursuing others and make it known to the team that Elliott was the man. No reason to stir up speculation as it will affect Elliott’s chance to prove himself, and isn’t fair.

I respect Dabo for being able to take on a team mid-season and win. Much of that was due to administration support. Elliott should get the same opportunity. It is trial by fire. Dabo survived and has done well. I hope the same for Elliott. However, if he can’t perform given a fair shot, then it is time to look post season.

And I’d say he’s a pretty good coach of you measure success by who he’s beaten of late, who’s to say he won’t win a NC one day at CU. And if you’re talking about talent at Sakkerliner, SOS had a lot of it in the glory 1/2 decade but couldn’t win an SEC Championship, got embarrassed in the only one they played in. Hell, half your fans are clamoring for one of his assistants to come coach the chickens. Which one do you want more, the HS coach turned OC or the fired DC that put together the No.1 defense in the nation last year and has a top 10 defense this year with all new players.

Be proud of what SOS did those 5 good years but realize he didn’t do crap the last 2 to keep it going for his successor. There may be less talent on that team than when Holtz took over.

Now you go get your Pom poms ready and cheer those Irish on, we need them to win games, not tank like normal.

Yeah, but do you consider a dog to be a filthy animal? I wouldn’t go so far as to call a dog filthy but they’re definitely dirty. But, a dog’s got personality. Personality goes a long way.

Obviously, your too emotional to reason, so I’ll leave this one alone. But please remember, when it comes to tanking, Clemson is the school with the official term named after it:

Rudy has wowed us with his cunning use of prose and relentless compassion to make us all seem inferior in intellect to him. That was till this…

Wrap your mind around this thought…John Gruden for HBC. Don’t rule this out.

Yeah, he only makes 6.5 million a year to give his opinion on ESPN. I don’t see why he wouldn’t come to Columbia to be the next grand failure. Personally, I wish he would, but i don’t think ya’ll have to worry about that.

I live in Lexington, and since Tuesday I have seen Bill Cower, Phil Fulmer, Charlie Strong, Pete Carroll, Brad Scott, Bear Bryant, and Tommy Lasorda all in town.

Bill Belichick?

Like I said Fuente. Memphis > Ole Miss.

Personally I don’t care who they hire, Clemson’s going beat them for years to come at this point.

Looks like you would make a very good hire…, they’re about to beat Ole Miss by 13.

The Lizard Man will show up sometime soon…

It is SC State Fair week, and Head Coach hires and the Fair have a lot in common…
