Mad Chas - Morris Island Cart Captains

ok cart captains, i have some new logistical information.

The boat leaves from Ripley Light Marina. Park at the end of the La Quinta parking lot near California Dreaming. Use the closest access ramp, turn right, and go down the dock to the biggest pontoon boat you can find.

By the way, the boat will easily handle 10 carts and 30 people. please register, and add in the comment box, put “Morris Island Cart Captain”. please fill the boat up. it’ll probably carry more than 10…

Boarding begins at 8:30 am, and the boat leaves at 9:00 am.
it’s about a 35 minute ride out, which will give you some time to meet your Troops.

Low tide Nov. 12 is 11:45 am.

The drop-off location is the back side of Cummings Point, or what is left of it. there’s a deep channel there, and some of you can fish there. it’s about 30 minutes to walk around to the rocks.

Once tide turns, you will have another 90 minutes to fish, or you will get wet trying to get back past the point before tide gets too high…the Troops won’t care…

You should be back the dock about 3:30 pm, and please come up to Rivers Edge Marina for the best bbq dinner around.

All captains need attend the Captains Meeting Friday night (6-8). We have waivers to give you to carry for the Troops so they don’t need a fishing license. and we’ll have a box of squid to give you too.

Thank you for your support.

I’ve got the addresses for the meeting places and thought I’d post them. The captains meeting is at Rivers Edge Marina 4354 Bridgeview Drive, North Charleston S.C. 29405, Phone # (843) 554-8901. The captains meeting is November 11 from 6-8 pm. The place to meet where the boat leaves the following morning is Ripley Light Marina at 8:30 am.The company name Adventure Harbor Tours. 56 Ashley Point Drive, Charleston S.C. 29407, (843) 442-9455. If people don’t know where these places are located, it would be good to find them before the event. They still have plenty of room on the boat, and all are welcome to join.

Thanks guys! Cannot wait!

i know a couple of you wanted to go out to Morris Island before you fish out there, but tide is wrong this weekend…

see y’all soon.
