Weird things happen on Thursday night games. Weirder things happen in that stadium and with NCST and top ranked teams. I would have thought they would have been blown out but the typical crap happened up there. NCST got some bad breaks, they also stalled drives and shot themselves in the foot on numerous drives. False starts and lack of discipline on the line were killers.
The officiating wasn’t great but it wasn’t bad either, they got most of the calls right. The kid stepped out of bounds, dead ball. I’m just glad they didn’t call the marginal false starts and holding calls on the NCST line, jeeze we’d still be playing the game.
NCST is not a good team, Clemson got out of there with the W ugly as it was and we fans will take it.

It was a stupid act. Kid is going to pay for it too. However, it’s football, stuff like that happens all the time. Guarantee a lot worse goes on in a pile than a little punch. DJ Swearingen ring a bell. Isiah Battle has a ton of talent, the coaches have been trying to get the kid to be a little more aggressive and not so easy and passive, maybe it finally worked. Now he gets to sit for a game or three to think about how he’s going to start channeling his newfound badass nature.
