Fished Edisto this weekend after yard in shape Pickup load of palm Trimings you can cut more with a chain saw in thirty min. than you can haul off in a pick up in two hours. hit water around 12 noon water temp around 81. first two drops managed only one small trout. At third Drop went to MM under a poping cork and game on total 8 reds in the slot ran out of MM and went to drop #4 Managed a 26" red out from under a tree on 10 # test I call that petty ■■■■ lucky and very little skill, 26" red on a Trout Trick. Sunday again on the water at 12 noon went to drop 3 with MM and notice the Manaden poping the surface and what the heck I ran out MM yesterday maybe I can catch a couple and use after the MM are gone so make a cast with my old 8 ft Betts super pro. let drop thru the water Pull the net to side of the boat and I am not man enought to get that many Manaden in my boat and if I could use 100 a day it would take a month to go thru them. Open the net and let a least 1200 out and kept 25-30. Big trout like Manaden big time by 3:30 low Tide had 4 19-20" Trout and 1 22" Red. I would set the hook to early of many of the bites with the manaden I think you need to let them take for a couple of seconds befor you set the hook. Any way at 3:30 game called due to Thunder storms. Made back to Live Oak tied the boat to the dock made inside the truck just before it rain like 3" in 45 min with wind and hail mixed in. When the rain broke off I look around to see my boat was untied and some dude was at the controls so I back the trialer in the water and he puts her on better than I can @ Live Oak. Nice Young man from North Augusta. He and his party came from North Edisto during worst of the Thunderstorm. Thanks for putting my boat on trailer. Found a new bait for me this week easy to catch and every thing eats them,Manaden
