How is the bait situation in PRS & the Broad River? Are there a lot of big pogies around? Headed down there this weekend to do some poon chasing.

Also, any reports of tarpon around Bay Point or Joiner Bank?

Found big pogies off the Westin/Folly on Sunday. They were very scattered, not flipping, and it took several throws to fill the well.

Didn’t see any tarpon rolling in among the bait.

bait on the north end this year is the worst iv ever seen. I have heard of 2 or 3 tarpon caught all year. The br bridge is probably your best bet unless something changes this week. There has been some bait on the south offshore a few miles.

saw that, it’s a shame! Killed a good sized breeder right there, the article states they have “zero food value” and they stilled killed it.

Did you have any luck last weekend heading out Thursday and Friday looking for bait and Tarpon.

Menhaden, ladyfish , bluefish and tarpon were everywhere today in broad river.
