Optiker, You are spot on! Idle around til you see several “clouds” (bait so thick the sonar can’t penetrate) and throw the net. Seems to me weather changes stop them from flicking. Sonar deal is actually more reliable. Bob

Just trying to learn every bit I can about saltwater fishing…
I’m on a tidal creek but they were flicking there.
If you don’t see them flicking then check your sonar as described above.
