Anybody seen any menheaden around Botany or between Botany and Deveaux Bank? Thanks
I haven’t seen them there yet, doesn’t mean they aren’t there. Might want to try in front of White Point and up to the first bend in White Point Creek. Normally do pretty good there. Haven’t seen them in the Toogoodoo yet either.
Went yesterday and didn’t see any bait at White Point, or anywhere in N.Edisto or between Botany and Deveaux,must be a little early.
You can’t catch fish on a dry line
I know this doesn’t help for what you’re looking for, but saw quite a few large schools of menhaden busting the surface on the way in from fishing offshore yesterday. Most were pretty far out, so maybe they will make their way in to Botany soon.
We went to Edisto 60’ and came back the same way between Deveaux and Botany and didn’t see any at all, just happened to miss em I guess

We saw them a little north of Edisto 60. So yeah, ya’ll probably just missed them.
