CaptFritz; the aaaah could be taken 2 ways! The first is, I made a mistake and ment to say, pancake! The second is I ment, aaaah Hoppy, AKA, LSK, AKA, pancake! Now Im confused!
It is almost as if all the following activities are frowned upon by LSK.
-buying gobs of tackle from local shops even when I can’t go fishing
-building rigs out of said tackle
-selling rigs, mainly to folks in FL and NC for a tiny profit margin
-trying to help people catch fish while I cannot go fishing myself
-responding to people’s requests for help/advice
-catching B liners
-calling out someone who has fished offshore for less than 2 years but who thanked nobody in her “epic sword report”
-calling out someone who got very close to having official S&R launched as well as this community out looking for her and her crew
You win, LSK. I am guilty of all the above. I won’t call you out anymore. I get it now. You want the praise, but not any criticism. I should not have been critical of your reporting or internet alterego-ism. I also regret bringing up your J hooks again after Chatham had already brought enough attention to them for you to take your pic down. I do apologize for that. I mean it when I say there will be no more calling you out being done by me.
However, feel free to pick on me all you want. I have gotten used to it since it is the internet and trash talking fishermen/women and all.

I have no dog in this fight. I really enjoy reading all the funny and informative fishing reports. So many of you are really great communicators.
If I could get you all fine folks with strong opinions in a room together, I would suggest you remember life is short so spend as much time enjoying it together vs stressing each other out via the internet. If you have a beef with someone - set up a personal meeting and try to find some common ground to move forward together or agree to disagree, respectfully.
Happy fishing to all who get the chance and let’s get back to those funny and informative reports.

Coming from a DY that only gets down y’alls way once or twice a year…I’ve probably learned just about as much on these longer threads than a lot of the short ones-maybe it’s because everyone ends up having to explain themselves a little more?
