Miss Behavior?

That’s the point a lot are trying to make . No one on here wants to read about her 23 footer upside down 60 miles offshore like her or not . Remember it not just your life your risking its everyone on your vessel and I’m sure there families would like to keep them around as would yours

grab the gaff and another cold beer

The feeling you get when your sitting on your upside down boat can be compared to nothing.

That aint Hoppy! I always liked Hoppy and I don’t much care for pancake, so it can’t be Hoppy!

Ok now im curious, is it really widely considered dangerous to fish 60 miles out in a 23? I have a 23 walkaround and sometimes fish in the 60 mile range

right side up that is

LSK just lol’d Phin’s report, you just need to change locations, I believe it will continue over here as soon as he notices:

I heard a story once about Phin rolling out in a boat under 20ft without an 8ft antenna, heard someone was trying to hail him while searching for a missing boat that person ended up having to drive over there and yell over to him because he wasn’t monitoring the VHF. Also heard he asked to borrow that persons anchor because he had lost his. Another time I heard he was given a lot of number from a headboat. just things I’ve heard over the years… How quickly some of us forget where we came from.

I had walked away from this thread, but for good times’ sake I will reply to your borrowed, tired, and reminiscently laughable schtick nonetheless.

The rest of the story of when the Gut Wrench attemped to reach me during its quest for Eyyeball’s missing boat can be seen here. http://old.charlestonfishing.com/forum/pop_printer_friendly.asp?TOPIC_ID=61083
The boat had not been set up for use offshore, and you are correct that it did not have an adequate offshore radio. This is why the boat did not go past the red banks that day. Also, that day was the last anchor I’d lost, and I did joke with them that it’d be nice to have another anchor. I believe that I even joked that we’d trade them some snapper for an anchor. I cannot remember exactly who was on the boat, but they seemed very giddy that they’d “cornholed” ol Phin on one of his “headboat numbers.”

The headboat numbers thing always cracks me up because although I do have probably 30,000+ waypoints off our coast, the only reason I would ever want headboat numbers is so I could decide where NOT to go fishing since headboat numbers have been beaten up for over 5 decades by hundreds upon thousands of baited hooks over them. I have shared information with a lot of people and spent many hours researching for fishing info as

The best part of the wholethread was the bikini picture with the swordfish and it got removed

It was actually a pic with a white bone porgy, red porgy and hooks that are illegal in the S Atlantic, but I’m sure there will be plenty more bikini pics with swordfish in the future.

No more pics as requested 'til you stop starting a battle over bs in the offshore fishing se ction. Quite frankly, you wasted my time and the time of many others. Grow up Wes.

How is the swordfish rig selling going that you do on the hull truth? Of note to all out there, I purchased nothing from Wes. Atlantic Game and Tackle set me up for success.

Anyhow Wes, hope it is well With you basket liners fishing and all. And I use offset circle hooks. Not that you should care, but apparently you do, lol.

With rates so low, now may be the perfect time to refinance or purchase your dream home. If you are thinking about home financing give me a ring!</font id=“blue”>
