The boat is nice and all but how about some fish pictures???
never used the alexseal product
you gonna roll and tip or have it sprayed?
im gonna assume its similar to awldrip
Some friends of mine that have painted several custom yachts with it will be doing mine. We may not need the high build primer, but will probably do it anyway. I think that Alexseal was developed by the same guy that developed awlgrip. Awlgrip was sold and the guy left or something. EPA regs made awlgrip “not as good” about 5-6 years ago according to the NC sportfisher building crowd, who are using Alexseal now. I am talking about Hatteras, Winter, Spencer, etc. Alexseal seems to be a lot more durable IMO than the newer awlgrip. I have fished on boats that had the topsides painted with awlcraft, awlgrip and alexseal, and the alexseal holds up like gelcoat when you drag a fish basket or something across the gunnel. I hear different stuff from different painters and builders, but I haven’t heard a bad thing about the Alexseal while I have heard some complain about awlgrip being hard to get right or not holding up well. The old awlgrip and the new alexseal seem to be the painters’ favorites.

This is very impressive! I cannot imagine the planning effort involved!
Where are you putting the porta-potty, Phin?
You’re looking at it. A few people remember that’s where they went originally on these boats!
May put one inside the console too though.

Hope no one has to much beer and mistakes it for a live well:wink:
if you ever fill up all the onboard storage hatches you have built in, you will need a F550 to tow it, and I don’t think it will float “:)”
It is going to be an amazing setup once its complete
