MOJO '78 Mako 25 Rebuild - Got my Mojo workin

Phin, just wondering who is doing the line-x 650, I assume this is the marine grade line-x that can be color matched, only people I knew of doing this were in Sarasota Fl, possibly looking to do my deck with it also, would be great to get it done locally

I have been unable to find anyone local who can apply anything close. I am talking to Brian in Sarasota now about pulling down to him.

Sarasota?

You might need a lowboy for that horse…

They have the market locked up right now . From what I understand Sarasota LineX invested a bunch of his own personal money in the research and development of the marine LineX. I had contacted LineX about trying to get in business myself before I decided to make the move with the power company. They didnt offer the marine LineX up for sale.

He needs to somehow franchise out what he’s doing. Lots more money to be made than what he can do in his shop. I can barely reach him he’s so busy.

Put the thru-hull and seacock in for the forward live well’s drain. It’s below the horizontal rod holder tubes on the starboard side in the bow.

Just a picture of the cockpit.

Hawse pipes for spring lines and fuel fill and vent cutouts are done. Will do the rod holders after line-X is on.
X marks in the pic below were for spacing reference so I could get the hawse pipes in the same spacing as the rod holders will be. Everything along the gunnels is on 16" centers except for the fuel fill, which aggravated me for a long time before I decided where I wanted it!

My friend Javier getting it done

Will beef up where these hinges mount and thru bolt them

If you were wondering how to reach my seacock valve for the fwd livewell drain…

More soon

Laying up a new hatch surround and gutter for my new anchor locker access. We’ll close up the old vertical access hole. This one will let a Polyform LD-3 buoy pass through it, and that’s what I will be using for my anchor and chain offshore. Makes a good forward bumper at the dock also.

More glass will go on it after it’s methacrylated into the boat.

Here is the leaning post that’s going in the boat. Was able to get it out of storage since we moved into our new house this weekend.

The black will get stripped off, and it will get lineX’ed in matterhorn color with the T top frame.

Have you tried Liquid Fusion out of Murrels Inlet? My buddy had it sprayed in his Regulator and has been very happy with it. There was also a Line-x guy up there but the dealer he got his boat from recommended the Liquid Fusion.

Never heard of it. Have lineX Sarasota scheduled for the end of the month.
