I guess what you are really saying is that you want to see a picture of the open hatch.
:stuck_out_tongue:
The opening of the hole ■■■■■■■■■■■■■ measures 13 inches. My LD-3 buoys and a five gallon bucket will fit thru.

well... at first glance I thought maybe you were doing a shallow box for something specific and were gonna access the space from the old door, then I saw you glassed in the old door, so that idea went south, then I just assumed you were gonna cut out the bottom, and if you are gonna do that, why not cut it out before you glassed in? just curious.

I will have some interesting stuff going on inside the locker as you predict.
Too hard to explain, but I will post pics. Spare anchor stowed secure, spare rode stowed securely, main chain stowed separately and secure to prevent tangling with the rode, capstan windlass below deck, and lighting…
Easier to blow dust off the top than vacuuming out of the locker.
Cutting once in is pretty easy.
Fein Multimaster with a flush blade. A 1/4" panel screwed into the bottom of the pan makes a good guide or you can free hand it then block sand from the bottom to make the edge perfect.

The only good place to hide any of that is in your belly!

+1 to this.

Boat Show is a great idea - plus your a local celebrity now after all!

I won’t ask if you can make it to the “In water show”…April 25-27:smiley::smiley::smiley:

25’ SeaPro

Fwd seating area work is done

Kick box. Still need to radius the front edges and glass then fair there.

Some cup holders

Spent several hours wrestling the 1.5" bronze seacock and raw water strainer fitting, but they are now plumbed

Also plumbed the transom livewell drain line. Dust is all over everything in the bilge - Sorry. The top livewell overflow and bottom drain go to a Marelon Y selector valve where I can select top or bottom to be my outflow. No plug or stand pipe needed. The clean looking hose in the top right background is the hose I just plumbed to the drain thru hull. The two small hoses coming down for the right are just there because I haven’t hooked them up to the pumps. They feed the transom livewell. The black elbow in the foreground is the transom livewell drain.

Looking down from the side aft access in the cockpit

Drilling ho

Phin, your going to need new lungs, when you get done:wink:

You know the end is in sight when the cupholders go in.

I hate iPhones. Trying again.

Are you going to bring this rig down for us to check out before you splash it?

Too tired to put these in nicer order, so sorry. Lots more pics soon.

Looking good, end is near, still wish you would try peel ply, but, that’s alright, I’ve got stock in Norton:smiley:. Where did you get the t-handled round hatch for your splash well?

EBay

Armstrong hatch.

I Continue to be impressed, what is the blue paint that you use before what seems to be a polish step. Just ensuring you touch every spot?
