Fished with Haulin’ Bass yesterday. After some serious searching, we found a school of bruisers about 1 hour before low. Only thing they would take were mud minnows on the bottom…motionless to avoid spooking. Caught 10 from 26 to 32 inches before some smaller fish showed up. Caught 15 or 16 in all. Had three over 31…two 31 1/2 and one 32. Love it when they gang up like that!
Had to drop HB back at the dock at noon, so I went scouting a couple of deep holes for trout, but nada for the effort. Water temp was 43.5 when I left dock at 7:30 am, and was up to only 48.2 by 2:15 pm. I hope this storm doesn’t hurt the trout.
