Months for Sharkin'?

Does anyone know around when shark fishing is good until in the area? I was thinking it slows down around November… does this sound right?

I’m not an expert shark fisherman am going to try to land a BIG one this summer. I’ve made a shark rig with a cinder block as the weight to drop off the ledge of the grillage right off from SI and hope for something big. Have seen multiple tiger sharks, bull sharks, black tips, and hammerheads pulled out from there. I believe there are possible state record sharks hanging around there.

We hooked one today between the jetties but he broke off before we got to see him. Sharks should start showing up in reliable numbers in a week, maybe 2 and should run solid 'til October.

Landed and released 3 Sandbars from 66- 76" saturday. Caught on cut mullet. They are thick right now. I really think their numbers are back up again. We used to catch tons of them in the 6-7 foot range in the 80’s right off the beach before the commercial guys wore them out. Now since the laws went into effect, they seem to have exploded again.
