I believe its the “Everyone gets a trophy” for participating because everyone is a winner crowd finding out life isn’t all unicorns and rainbow skittles. They were not taught how to deal with and overcome life’s disappointments… So they harm others…
A bad day fishing is much better than a good day at work.

acts of violence like this have happened since this beginning of mankind. Some people are just mentally unbalanced. One of my friends growing up…who was an all state soccer player…snapped one day after his girlfriend broke up with him and shot her, her friend and then killed himself in a fit of rage.
I think a lot of it is just a matter of simple math. The world is exploding population wise and thus the amount of mentally unbalanced people is exploding with it. Thus you see it more and more.
And already a Bama grad interning for ESPN has tweeted jokes about Jameis, saying something to the effect of “The Shooter was looking for Winston”. Think her career is over…

I see where there is humor in that but it is in very bad taste
I saw the tweet and my first reaction was, “wow I can’t believe you’re making light of students getting shot.” But then I wasn’t even sure if it was a joke – Maybe I just don’t get it? Why would “maybe someone is trying to shoot Jameis” even be funny? I mean I like a joke as much as anybody, but for the life of me I can’t figure what the joke even is.

I guess it would have been more funny if it was “i heard Jameis shot people”.
Only because of the blame Jameis world.
I put a lot of the responsibility on the media. As long as they keep immortalizing these killers with photos and name recognition, the copycats will keep trying to get a bigger body count. I say, report the story but never give the name or show the face of the killer. Just say " a gunman" and leave it at that.
