As promised, got out to Morris on Sunday. Arrived a bit later than planned but still managed to walk around to the ocean side and get lines in. Not a bad hike, at high tide though rounding the point will be interesting. There is a cut through off the beach that is a bit drier.
Decent trough just around the point on the northern side of the groin. Around the groin looks good as well. Landed a few Whiting in the short time on the beach. Soaked a chunk of Whiting, no hits.
My oppinion, the beach looks pretty fishy. Hope the wind is not an issue.
May need a plan B spot if it doesn’t pan out.
