I’m curious to watch our dline against UGA’s oline.
That and the bulldogs secondary is questionable at best. Why Clemson doesn’t just run the ball up the gut is beyond me. Georgia can’t stop their RBs.
A week can make a huge difference though.

Good game for the tigers. Defense looked better… Georgia seemed a little slow at making adjustments on offense especially when Clemson was blitzing. Murray can move I thought they would get him out on more bootlegs and run more play action toward the end of the second half when his line was having so much trouble picking up their blocks. ,

Clemson looked like they were playing in week four. Georgia certainly looked like they were in the season opener.
Probably the best win for Clemson in years.
Good game. Neither defense was good, which is evident by the 70+ points scored.
Clemson had many dropped passes. As I have said before I don’t like the number of QB runs Morris calls. It is one thing to scrabble another to call his number over and over.
UGA had many coaching issues. Like Andy said, everytime UGA went outside, pitch sweeps, rolling Murray out they had big gains. But UGA run up the middle over and over.
I do think Clemson got away with one. long pass down the side like, i think to bryant. Called incomplete, but looked to me that he caught it made a football move then dropped it.
I also think the band was in the announcer booth. dam they made it hard to here the announcers.
I have read several Facebook post about huge win, statement win, even “a beat down”, even post about taking down the mighty SEC.

It was the first game so some of the sloppy plays and play calling is expected.

BTW: I personally dont understand playing a quality team on the first game. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy watching but that is tough.
Not just CU vs UGA. USC vs UNC. but there were a few big games for the first game. In all honesty, I dont understand USC starting with UNC, UGA, Vandy. In fact USC does not play a non-BCS school until the 11th game.(in week 4 USC plays UCF in the new AAC conference. I’m not sure what the status of that conference is. Are they an AQ?)

I was exited to see our defense shut them down for a bunch of drives, but also still very upset about giving up big plays and missing tackles. The offense looked pretty good, except for dropping passes in key situations. Over all it was a good win. That crowd was awesome!!
I guess we’ll find out next week a little more about where Georgia stands and how good they actually are.

tigerfin, agreed. The offense has been NC quality for a few years but the defense holds CU back.
Next week will be a good game. Playing between the hedges is always tough.

I’ll give the tiggers credit, save for a couple of plays, the O looked good. Chad Morris keeps that up, he will be head coaching somewhere else soon. Neither D looked worth a crap. What was the total yardage for both, 1,000 yards? Not sure if a beat up dawg team is good for us or bad for us. Guess we’ll see. Hmm, where are all the dawg fans?

Great win for the Tigers. Just remember…Defense wins championships. Both UGA and Clem U looked horrible on defense. Congrats on winning. Enjoyed watching the game. The crowd was great. I was worried Dabo was going to rape the sideline reporter but it looked like he grew up a little bit this year
