Mt. Pleasant fishing?

Hey everyone, I’ve been blessed with yet another summer down in Charleston and I’m excited to begin fishing again. I’m no longer down the street from the DI pier as I’m in Mt. Pleasant now. Where are some good places to go around the area? To be more specific, I’m right next to the IOP connector. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you looking for places you can walk to, or drive to relatively close by? Breach Inlet is ok at times, pitt street is also decent. There is a newer area to fish at shem creek also, but it can get busy. Lots of great places in Mt P to fish.

how do i get to this new area at shem creek?

Turn into the parking lot where the Shem Creek Inn and Vickery’s are located. The pier begins there. The address to the Shem Creek Inn is 1401 Shrimp Boat Ln, Mt Pleasant, SC </font id=“red”>. Good luck, and let us know how you do.

“I’m not a hundred percent in love with your tone right now…”

Its a little bit of a walk, but nice scenery. The tourist traffic and questions are heavy at times also. I had a lady ask me if my fiddlers were tarantulas. I didn’t even respond to that one. I have done ok there, but nothing spectacular for me personally.

i know where shem creek inn is because we eat at RB’s EVERYTIME we go to charleston…lol
will have to look for this pier.
