Change is inevitable unfortunately…I get it. If that were my main fishing spot, I wouldn’t be happy about it either. Ask some of the guys that have been fishing Charleston for 50+ years. Ask them about all the great fishing areas that have been ruined by development. It is what it is. Find a new unspoiled spot and move on.
I guess Shem creek has gotten a little too crowded with paddleboarders from Ohio.

Looks like more piers to attract sheepshead to me. The restaurant seems like it will detract from the purpose of a park though. I wonder who’s getting the money from the restaurant and boat slips. If they don’t let you fish the floating docks it’s pointless for the public.
I’ve only been there once but though a floater would have been a good add.
