Mt pleasant pier first trout

Fished mt pleasant pier 9am-1pm. Its a big change in fishing for me coming from the surf. Broke out my bass rods and tied on a zman slim swimz in gold flake 2.5inch. With a zman mushroom head jig. Dont really know how to jig but ended up catching that one dumb trout that fell for my technique. First trout that i have ever caught measured in at 15 inches. I know i havnt posted much lately. Ive been surf fishing a few times the past few weeks but caught nothing. I will be going to the piers frequently now.

Congrats on the trout. Seen any sheeps come over the rails. Been meaning to go out and try. Between work, family and holidays, just can’t find the time right now.

Ya know, it must be nice living in Neverneverland. Remind me to come visit you, when I need a break from reality.
