Coming down and plan on fishing all day that Sat. First time fishing here any tips would be welcome.

Quite a few nice flounder, reds & trout off the pier. Live mud minnows or mullet will work best.
can’t go wrong with shrimp. If you want your kids to catch at least something be sure and use small hooks. My kids loose interest quick so with a small hook and some fresh shrimp they at least catch some whiting or croaker. Good luck
