What is biting is mt pleasant pier what bait and where on the pier.
I just went to Mount Pleasent Pier on 5/3/2015 and I caught 16 whiting. Had fiddler crabs but the sheep head where not biting that day. Also eels and stingrays and a skate. Caught whiting on frozen raw walmart shrimp for 5.00 a bag. Hadrells Point bait shop is the best place to get your tackle and bait.
There have been several flounder in the 16" - 18" range caught recently as well. Most caught using mud minnows, but a couple were caught using Vudu shrimp or Zman minnows along the bottom.
