Any of you surf fisherman seen any big runs/schools of mullet on the beaches or piers yet? Seems a little late for them not to have started the migration yet?

We saw a fair amount on Thursday running around the Folly Pier (as in schools of 100+ finger mullet), but haven’t seen ANY mullet since that day. Starting to get worried not gonna be much of a “run” this year.
Friday evening I was fishing 12th st, and there were mullet jumping the entire time out on the second bar.
Largest run I have seen in my 9 years down here Friday morning at IOP 25 yards offshore…I was down near the Wild Dunes Beach club. Sharks, birds and Dolphins having a field day with them.
saw them last thursday just past the breakers in a pretty steady stream. Was windier Friday and Saturday (didn’t see any saturday) but this NE flow will definetly keep em coming. Once we get a minor cool down they will roll out heavy
There’s plenty at Murrell’s Inlet headed your way.
I’d rather fish than eat.

I could not believe the amount of mullet in the surf in Myrtle Beach over the weekend. They were all heading left-to-right (south).
There were lots of birds in the air and bigger fish chasing them out of the water along the way.
We could see thick schools in every wave all day long Saturday and Sunday.
